It has been three years since we conducted a staff survey. The 2022 survey highlighted several issues that have been or are in progress, of being addressed. One topic that has arisen both in the former staff survey and through the Human Resources Strategy is our organization’s culture. The CAO recognizes the importance of a positive work environment and seeks staff input as to how we are doing.
Culture can be defined as the shared beliefs and characteristics of our organization. For example, we value respect, collaboration and innovation. It is displayed by how we communicate and interact with each other. It is experienced by how we feel about working for the municipality.
The following questions have been designed to understand your thoughts, perceptions and feelings about working for the Town of Halton Hills. Some of the questions from the 2022 survey have been repeated so we can compare the results.
This survey asks only for your department. This survey is completely anonymous. (As there is no registration associated with taking this survey there is no way that staff can be identified.)
The results of the survey will be shared with staff at a Town Hall meeting.
